OBJECTIVE Technique TOPIC Dribbling and Shooting
 
PHASE:  I - Opening Section

TIME:

15 minutes

OBJECTIVE:

Warm-Up

SETUP AND SEQUENCE / SWITCHING SIDES W/BALL                                          

EXERCISE 1: Players dribble to the other side                                                                    EXERCISE 2: Like #1 except each player dribble once around in a circle in the center of the field             EXERCISE 3: Like #1 except players execute fakes with the ball in the center of the field, in front of each other (fake to the right, pass on the left or vice versa                                                                                                                                         EXERCISE 4: Like #1 except players dribble one around each other in the center of the field.                  EXERCISE 5: Like #1 but now one group stands in the middle with legs apart. The other player have to kick their ball between their partners' legs                                                                                                      Setup:*Four cones mark the corner of a square field six to eight yards on each side                                         Players distribute themselves  evenly along. The sidelines of  the field each player on the opposite side

 
PHASE:  II - Preparatory  Section TIME: 15 minutes OBJECTIVE: Coordination

SETUP AND SEQUENCE                                                                                                                Players run through the course as fallows                                                                                          hurdles forwards, then sideways taking only one step in each space runs                                                Variation                                                                                                                                             *Players run through the ladder forwards and sideways, taking two steps in each space between rungs  *Players run the slalom course backwards, or circle each cone  once                                                  Objectives                                                                                                            1.Improvingrunning technique                                                                                                                  2.
